The Yoga Loft: my neighborhood yoga studio
Recently I moved into a new neighborhood in San Francisco, and over the past month I’ve been exploring the local coffee shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, my gym is still far away, but I did find a local yoga studio. I checked it out this weekend and loved it, but what really sold me on this place was their web site.
First of all, theloftsf.com has a featured image of a white labrador on the home page as well as a fantastic Barack Obama quotation:
“So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism; of service and responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves, but each other.”
- Barack Obama, Nov 4, 2008
These two elements had me sold, but I still had to check out the class schedule and teacher bios. The site does a fantastic job of telling the Yoga Loft story, and so far, the studio doesn’t seem pretentious (as some city yoga studio’s can).
To those living in San Francisco, I can’t recommend this place yet, but stay tuned – I promise to provide a more thorough review
